2026 Coaching Staff


Emma DeWeese - Blue Team

Emma is a 2023 Bellbrook Alum, where she played 3 years of Varsity (2021, 2022, 2023) as a defensemen. During her 2024 season, she appeared in 16 games, and started 11 games at Marietta College. She also forced 5 turn overs and controlled 11 ground balls. She is studying Middle Childhood Education/Special Education with a focus in Coaching. 
Emma enjoys working with the girls, and really excels at portraying concepts and ideas to the players so they translate on the field. She pushes the girls to work hard, but also creates a fun, energetic environment. Her goal for SOGO is to create a strong team culture and provide the players with the confidence and skills they need to be successful on the field, and in life.  She is a great asset to the coaching team!
Fun Fact: She loves neon colors and also jumped on the Kane Train





Payton Davis - Blue Team

Payton is a 2025 Springboro Alum, where she played primarily attack, but has spent time at each position. She also served as Team Captain her senior year. She will be playing for Thomas More University this fall. As a coach, she wants to prepare her players for long and successful lacrosse careers, teach new skills, and build lacrosse IQ. She hopes to pass on her love for the sport to the younger girls and help grow the game. This is her first year coaching, and she looks forward to how this experience will help her grow as a player. 
Fun Fact: Payton first started playing lacrosse in 8th grade and is excited to work with players the same age she was when she picked up a stick!


Kenzie Beck - Orange Team

Kenzie Beck is excited to return to coaching with SOGO Lacrosse. A 2024 graduate of Kings High School, Kenzie currently plays attack for The Ohio State University Women’s Club Lacrosse team. Throughout her playing career, Kenzie has been known for her strong offensive IQ, leadership, and positive energy on the field. She brings a great balance of competitiveness and encouragement to her coaching style and loves helping players grow their confidence within the game. Kenzie especially enjoys working with players on stick skills, movement, and offensive creativity. Over her time coaching with SOGO, she has built strong relationships with players and has become an important part of the program. She is passionate about mentoring younger athletes and creating a fun, challenging, and supportive environment for the girls. Kenzie is looking forward to another great summer season with SOGO Lacrosse!


Maeley Rohe - Orange Team

Maeley Rohe is excited to join the SOGO Lacrosse coaching staff this summer. Maeley is a 2026 graduate of Springboro High School, where she was a varsity starter and senior captain, and she will continue her collegiate lacrosse career at Ashland University this fall. Primarily a midfielder, Maeley has experience playing every position on the field, giving her a strong understanding of the game from all perspectives. She is known for her versatility, leadership, work ethic, and positive attitude both on and off the field. Having recently completed the college recruiting process herself, Maeley is very up to date on recruiting expectations and enjoys helping younger players better understand the opportunities and preparation involved in playing at the next level. She loves helping athletes build confidence, improve their lacrosse IQ, and strengthen the fundamental skills needed to succeed in all areas of the game. As a recent high school athlete, she brings relatable experience and energy to the program while creating a supportive and competitive environment for players to grow. Maeley is looking forward to working with the girls and being part of the SOGO family this summer!
